Buying a hardware wallet in Asia
- Keystone: its shipping-regions page says it offers "worldwide delivery to all countries". If your country isn't on its list, it points you to its other official stores and resellers. Keystone's listed address is in Kowloon, Hong Kong.
- Ledger: Ledger publishes a shipping restrictions and delivery options page by country. We couldn't load it to confirm each Asian country today, so check it before ordering, especially from the Philippines.
- Buy only from the official store or an authorised reseller, and never from unknown marketplace sellers.

COLDCARD seed generation bug (disclosed July 2026): Coinkite says a firmware bug weakened seed generation on affected COLDCARD releases, and attackers took funds from weak seeds offline. Affected: seeds made on Mk2/Mk3 firmware 4.0.1 to 4.1.9, and on Mk4/Mk5 before 5.6.0 (Edge 6.6.0X) and Q before 1.5.0Q (Edge 6.6.0QX). A firmware update does not repair an existing seed: install the fixed firmware, make a new seed and move funds, unless the advisory's 50+ private dice-roll exception applies. TAPSIGNER, OPENDIME and SATSCARD are not affected. COLDCARD is not one of the wallets compared below and is not linked as a shop.
